Todd Nuckols resides in his hometown Richmond, VA. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993 and began a career in information technology with Circuit City Stores and CarMax. By 1998, Todd transitioned to the startup world and continued to leverage his technical strength in software based startup companies.
A four-time software entrepreneur over the past 25 years, Todd has developed successful companies in mobile, analytic and business intelligence sectors. He was Vice President of Product Development for LocusOne Communications that sold for $40 million to Aether Systems in 1999. He went on in 2001 to help establish EnterBridge and its division Advanous as a leader in SaaS pricing and margin management analytics (EnterBridge.com) where he served initially as Chief Technology Officer and currently serves as Chief Evangelist and operating CEO of the New Health Analytic company owned by EnterBridge. In 2006, he founded his own company, Zua Scene, in semantic web intelligence that led to a collaboration spawning Canvas Solutions (gocanvas.com.
For the past 6 years, EnterBridge has allowed Todd to leverage his startup experience as founder and co-director of Lighthouse Labs (lighthouselabsrva.com). The non-profit Lighthouse, recently recognized as a top performing accelerator in the country and member of the GAN, has assisted founders in launching 20 companies over the past 5 years leading to more than $30 million in capital raised and impacting over 120 jobs. It is the first of its kind, mentor-driven accelerator in central Virginia.
