Sara M. Crickenberger joined Carnegie Hall as Executive Director in January 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Marshall University, her Master of Arts degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from West Virginia University, and her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Virginia Tech. Sara served as the Assistant Director of Charleston Renaissance Corporation for three years and as the President/CEO of the American Lung Association of West Virginia for nine years. In 2005 she accepted a teaching fellowship at Virginia Tech, where she taught for seven years prior to joining the staff of Carnegie Hall.
