Amy Grossmann is the Interim President & CEO of ArtsGreensboro, the leading arts funding organization in Guilford County that financially supports more than 50 arts organizations and projects each year, connects the public to arts and entertainment, and financially supports the area arts scene through grants, marketing support and other important initiatives and services. Amy also serves as the director of the North Carolina Folk Festival – a three-day celebration of folk and traditional arts held annually in the city of Greensboro, NC.
Amy’s career in the non-profit arts sector as an event producer, grants administrator, and festival director, has focused on building and growing programs that celebrate diverse expressions of culture from across the world. Prior to arriving in Greensboro, Amy held roles with major cultural institutions across the country including the Maryland State Arts Council in Baltimore, the National Council for the Traditional Arts in Maryland, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, and the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto, CA. In addition to facilitating and overseeing grants programs, Amy has served as a review panelist evaluating applicants to the Florida State Touring Roster, a program of the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in Music History & Literature, and a master’s degree from American University in Arts Management.
