Local filmmakers Lorenzo Dickerson and Tanesha Hudson are making films that highlight important Charlottesville stories that have either been forgotten or never been told to a wide audience. Both self-taught filmmakers apply their passion and extensive community knowledge to shine a light on Charlottesville’s complex history, and further call for equity and racial justice in our city today and going forward.
