Part of the Community Workshop Series

This session explores two topics 1) the wide range of developmental benefits associated with regular exposure to green space and wooded areas for every domain of child development and 2) specific strategies for engaging children with the remarkable trees of Charlottesville. Participants will receive a map of often overlooked remarkable trees in our city and a series of activities to use to support children (ages 3 to 11) in developing an ongoing relationship with trees.
