Part of the Community Workshop Series

Have you ever wondered how to help others—or yourself—settle disputes in your personal or professional life? Conflict is inescapable, but it can be resolved with civility and respect when a mediator facilitates a dialogue between the disputing parties. But how does mediation work? Who can benefit from mediation? How can someone become a certified mediator in Virginia? In a discussion and demo presented by the Mediation Center of Charlottesville, these and other burning questions about mediation are answered. Participants will learn a time-tested, step-by-step process to help resolve different kinds of disputes encountered in all walks of life. If you have ever been curious about mediation and its benefits, this is the workshop for you.

You need this ticket from Eventbrite to sign up: Free Festival Pass.
