Vocalist and guitarist Daniel Parker has been making waves in the Virginia music scene playing blues, folk, funk and soul. Based in Staunton, he performs primarily with the acoustic duo, Parker & Gray, winners of the 2016 Central Virginia Blues Society Challenge and semifinalists of the 33rd International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. They also won 1st Place and Best Solo/Duo in the River City Blues Society of Richmond, VA in 2017 following with a semifinal placement in the 34th IBC’s in 2018. Mojo Parker’s talents don’t just rest in acoustic music, his electric sound blends his diverse taste in music to create a groove-based soul-rock concoction that is both heartfelt and entertaining.
